Hi folx, I’m Thammarat (he/they)! I’m a vocalist, songwriter, and yogi based in Bethesda, Maryland. Most people know me by my American name, Brennan (like Justice William Brennan), but I was born in Thailand under the name Thammarat.

Growing up, I loved playing with Barbie dolls, writing stories, and singing along to Broadway musicals. I’d spend hours getting lost in the worlds of fantasy, magic, and video games—finding shelter in the lyricism of the Barbie Cinematic Universe and the narratives of young heroes searching for their place in the world. I longed to embody the confidence I saw in those protagonists and in the songs they sang, yet never fully believed in my ability to carry their ideals into reality.

It wasn’t until I started voice lessons in middle school, and began writing my own music in 2020, that I finally discovered the magic living inside of me. Now I write what I call gaysian theater pop—music that inspires you to be the hero in your story.
